I have to say that my favorite racing game of all time was Beetle Adventure Racing.  I loved that game and played it for hours and hours - for a racing game, it did everything right.

'Back in the day', I was a broke university student.  I remember seeing the TG16 and the Turboexpress for sale in Radio Shack all the time, but there was no way I could even think of affording a purchase.

I didn't really get back into gaming until about 2000 or so.  Over the last ten years I've collected quite a wide variety of older systems, mostly 8-bit era items such as the Atari 2600 or the Intellivision.  I've seen quite a few folks commenting in various forums over the years that they really liked the TG16, so I tried out a few ROMs via emulation and liked what I saw.  I bought a TG16 eventually and I am really enjoying it.

I actually quite liked the N64, but that's because it was strong in two genres I enjoy: racing and 1st person shooters.

In some genres that I don't like, such as sports or RPGs, the N64 was very weak.

The N64 is built like a freaking tank, and I still see lots of them in local pawn shops and such.

As Vexcollects mentions above, Radio Shack used to carry them in Canada.  When they came out originally, I was a broke college student.  Although I admired the machine's advanced graphics for the time, I couldn't afford one.

I was messing around with the Mednafen emulator a few months ago and decided to check out the PCEngine emulation.  I was impressed, and recently I bought a TG-16 in very nice shape from an Amazon seller.  I only have a half-dozen games so far but I am happy with my purchase.
