Update: I had a look at the machines internal. Visually all looks good. I used some WD40 spray on the connectors and the machine works! However, I do have a very bad green tint on all picture output. No reds it seems. Cable do you think?

Thanks for all your suggestions. I tried the on/off/pull Hu card out a little...unfortunately still a pink screen. Its probably 12 months since I last had it on. Yes it has the JP mod although Hu cards are all US/Europe. Will take a look on the inside to take a look at the cable as soon as I can.

Hi folks,
Wondered whether anyone has any thoughts as to the cause: My Core Grafx II (with RGB mod) shows usual white screen without games but with games inserted only boots to pink screen. Have tried to blow any dust out/re-inserted and cleaned hucards repeatedly - nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Have recently acquired a clearly unloved GT which I want to bring back to life. First thing I need is a battery cover. Does anyone have a spare for reasonable £?
PS: the unit is dead ie will need a thorough check and service(capacitors??). Does anyone have any recommendations on good providers? Looks like a guy on eBay offers it...
