I don't know if that would be possible for copyright reasons etc. but how about the Ultima I, II, III?

The save option would be probably another problem too.

edit: I just read that you prefer action games than RPGs so you can just disregard this ;p

Welcome to the forum and the world of PCE!

I like your monitor! Gratz to the winner.

Yes, I haven't had any issues finding people. The servers are crap though and match-making as well as staying connected can be a problem sometimes.
#5
Man, I love it! Got it two days ago on PS4 and I just can't stop playing the damned thing. This non-stop 'hide and seek' feeling was definitely missing from my gaming time. On top of that you have Jason's finishing moves... what else to ask for? \m/

p.s. Ah yeah... I'd like to ask for better servers 'cause they are currently shit, but, oh well...

ULTIMA IV    :-({|=
#7
Hahaha.. I like how this has evolved
#8
I'd say scorpionfish too. That reminds me, I have a fish soup to cook! (no scorpionfish in there though ;p)
#9
I just did. Loved it. Typical retro Twin Peaks, Lynch feeling. Quite brutal for a first episode. I will watch it a couple more times to manage to connect everything before the next one is out

Shadowrun!! Legendary game (and version) imo.

Quote from: esteban on 02/09/2017, 12:12 PMWhy even brother calling this Castlevania?

I think it would have a better chance as a new franchise.

Yes, Castlevania has brand recognition ....but, the folks who will recognize this brand will have certain expectations (a range of expectations, actually), that would be difficult to satisfy.
This. It is just getting ridiculous.

Looks promising, but I still want sig00rney!
#13
A true masterpiece. Now I carry all of the knowledge required to BEAT this game.

And to blend the mix a bit more: https://youtu.be/LnFJJfwiwb4

Cool news indeed - can't wait for Street Hoop after that
#18
Silent debuggers - cool art but hard and confusing as heck.

Quote from: crazydean on 10/28/2016, 04:12 PMSurprised not to see the Alien movies listed. The first two were good, the rest were meh.

For modern moves I like a lot of what is on your list, adding:

Troll Hunter
Rare Exports
Trick r' Treat
Babadook
babadook is !"£$ing crazy - really creepy recent horror movie. However I will suggest Night of the living dead (1968) and Rosemary's baby in a brainstorming fashion. UP the pumpkins!

Bloody wooooolf! *howls* Pure arcade entertainment!
#21
The orange and the FC look great! Are the games gonna be digital only?
#22
Nintendoughnuts! Mmm...

Quote from: guest on 09/29/2016, 03:34 AMMy party just runs from room to room rolling dice going DO WE FIND ANYTHING.

Last time someone did that I said yes, you find a piece of paper that says "learn how to fucking play, and hand me a fucking coke. dick."

That got the message across.
Haha, this reminds me of Advanced Heroquest. The only difference there is that the game is so brutal that they eventually get the "message" from a ratman's killing blow. Lovely moments.

When I played Dungeon Explorer: generic title but with an unforgettable personality. Music, atmosphere, gameplay! There is nothing to be jealous of segas or nintendos

Wasted potential; it definitely needed some additional "frontier" influence.

Shadowgate NES, Drakhen SNES

With no particular order:

Garrett ("Thief" series)
Ax Battler ("Golden Axe" series etc.)
Guybrush Threepwood ("Monkey Island" series)
#31
Cool, will you ship to the UK?
#32
My travel cases for my hucards (and gamate games) have always been magic the gathering deck boxes
#34
Hehe, it looks cool. Monster in my pocket would be my guess too. I don't think I have ever seen it before though and I am afraid I know as much as you do about it.

Konami + mobile game = :'(

It looks boring as hell.
I will agree, despite the fact that the "self creating universe" is a cool idea.

Rest of my life?! Tough...

If retro computers are allowed then : Amiga.

If not then: ps1.
#38
What a great raffle! My favourite wonderboy is in there too. Good luck everyone!

P.s. Dont sign me up, no pc-engine here -yet- :D
#39
gratz to the winner, cool photos and pics indeed!
#40
It is probably a riddle for a hidden "Rondo of Blood"!
#41
Yeah, on the other hand I liked the Bane character, and the accent hehe.
#42
Well, historically and due to pure sentimental reasons I'd say monster land :D You could then try monster world (which is very cool too) and see for yourself if you are far away from your 'thing'. Monster world is towards the rpg side and monster land towards the arcade side.
#43
Wait, was there a 'Mad Max' in that movie??? Cool atmosphere but -overall- far from my expectations. Tom Hardy not suitable for the role imo.
#44
I can't wait for a 'wonder boy in monster land' cart (first WB game I ever played) I ordered to arrive for my "master system" (game gear with a master gear converter). I only wish the music was the original, like that of the arcade or the pc engine. Oh well, perhaps it is time to get a pc engine after all 'cause I can't find a true arcade port of this game in any of my current systems.
#45
I have never played it and I'd love to on my Turbo Express. Sign me up please if you think I should be in the list.

Whoa, kick ass collection. Welcome to the forum.

Related to the Ultima IV debate: there is a great version of the game in the link that follows for all the C64 owners: http://www.indieretronews.com/2015/03/ultima-iv-remastered-now-available-for.html

The game is legendary, I can play it forever.

I was recently playing Altered Beast on SMS, as I have never played the game before (yes, I am being serious:). Despite the fact that it plays bad I am really enjoying it. Cool sprites and overall atmosphere. I imagine that if I had the genesis version I wouldn't even bother mentioning it -but- if you have never played it and you dont have a genesis it is worth it in my opinion.

Double dragon: having played the arcade(which is awesome), the nes version(which plays good!) and the sms version I will say that the sms version reminds me a lot of the arcade version. And that is a plus. It is much harder than the nes version. Recommended.

Alex kidd in shinobi world, cute game, plays great. It is the only alex kidd I have ever played so I cant compare it to its predecessors but I really enjoy it.

And last but not least, dragonlance: heroes of the lance ad&d etc. I have just ordered this game as I have really fond memories. The detail of the gameplay is very deep, the graphics are great but it was hard and there was no save damn it... Absolutely recommended.

It is worth loading a game for the first time ever.
