12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

This place looks really cool.

The Turbo controller has switches to adjust the turbo settings in a game. How does the Wii do it without the switches?

Thanks for the greetings. It's an honor to meet you guys. :) The above was just some song lyrics that have been floating around in my head. I watched Interview With the Vampire the other night. At the end of the movie they played the Guns N' Roses version of 'Sympathy for the Devil' (originally from The Rolling Stones). I just thought it would be funny to post the opening lyrics as an introduction.

I've been a Turbo fan since I bought my TurboExpress back in 1991. Later that year I got the Turbografx console for my birthday. A couple of months later I got the CD add-on for Christmas. I got Y's Book 1 & 2, Y's 3, and Valis 2 to go along with it. What a memorable Christmas that was. I stayed glued to Y's Book 1 & 2 for days. :)

Why would I be banned? It was a joke. I'm new to the board and was saying hi.

Edit: I registered last February, but didn't post for the first time until yesterday. :) I was hoping to make friends. It looks like I got off to a bad start. :(

I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long years
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

QuoteI usually sit rather far away whenever I play my Wii, like around 10 feet or so. It doesn't work as sharply from that far away, but it's still very easy and enjoyable from that distance. The cursor will just get a little jumpy when you make close movements when you are that far away.
That's good to hear. :) If it gets to bad I can find something to set it on, to temporarily move it closer.

I was reading the comments left by people talking about building your own sensor bar. Here is an interesting one that I found:

QuoteMy company already has some of these in production using a similar method. We actually used a 9-volt with it, lasts about 72+ hours. We need to sell about 500 more units to drop the price significantly, so check us out :-) http://www.wirelesssensorbar.com
This one is a little expensive. Hopefully a name brand company will release one with better battery life. I'm also hoping they can make one with better range. Optimal range is supposed to be 3-8 feet. From where I set it will be 10 feet. I'm not sure if the extra two feet will make any difference. I guess I'll find out when I get mine at Christmas.

Nevermind, I found on another web-site that it's 138 inches.

How long is the sensor bar cable? I'll be getting a Wii for Christmas and need to know if I'll need to rearrange some furniture.
