2/13/2025: Localization News - Cosmic Fantasy 3-4!

Rather earth-shattering news in the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 community: Cosmic Fantasy 3 & 4 has been officially localized to English by Edia 30 years later for the Switch! Hard to believe! I know their script quality is poor given the 1&2 port but still good to see.

i'm not looking for any RPGs for this thing. i'm looking for mostly multiplayer games and ones my nephews could play. and i'm like a year away from being able to afford a turbo cd.
#2
i don't but maybe you should try turbo zone direct it'd be a longshot but they have manuals for $3
#3
thanks anyway. i'll just look around in july when i have my next allowance. i actually just spent most of my money on a bid for dungeon explorer so all my remaining funds will be going towards that. i'll post another topic next month since i'll actually probably need two more controllers. now that i think of it i think i remember my older brother throwing his original controller away when i told him i didn't need it since i just got one from TZD.

Edit: if anyone's looking for it if you don't wanna wait i'll gladly trade my copy of turrican for one. no way in hell i'm ever gonna beat that game so if you want it, let's talk.

yep! it's my favorite anime. i'm gonna splurge and go for a copy of dungeon explorer. now i guess i need a turbotap and two more controllers. oh well. i know what i'm looking for in july...

i don't expect to get it for five bucks, come on. a new controller's $20. i'm offering twenty bucks if the person can be really patient. i am in dire need of one, but money's come to a standstill until i get my next check july first. i'd like to try and have one secured by then as ebay seems intent on ripping off people looking for turbografx stuff.
#6
thanks for the tip, but without a turbotap an extra controller's useless to me. i'll just get a new controller from turbozone direct in july, but i need that turbotap. i would just get one off of ebay but the only ones i could afford will only take paypal.

okay, gonna be totally honest here. i need a turbotap and an extra turbografx 16 controller but funds are unbelievably light. i only have five bucks. maybe that'll change soon, i dunno. i'm not psychic. if someone's looking to sell what i need but they want more i could get like $20 on the first of july.

payment by money order is all i can do at this point.

thank you for your time.

my sister's kinda picky about the games she'll let them play so i gotta kinda be careful. besides currently the only multiplayer game i have is world class baseball. my brother never sprung for a turbotap or anything so i only have what he has.

lol. maybe i'll pick one up next month if that guy's still selling them. it would be kinda cool to just have one at least.

yeah i know. turbografx is pretty light when concerning RPGs. that's why i also have several other systems. really right now i'm looking to my turbografx for a break from all the RPG action. i've played hundreds, and even made a couple. now i want some good ol' fashioned game goodness, mostly from splatterhouse and china warrior.

and corny as hell you say? perfect! and yeah, i want 'em but i don't expect too much graphically from the first ever cd game systems. or at least the turbo cd holds that honor.

even if i could find a turbotap somewhere i just spent $200 on games and parts to get my turbografx, super nintendo and genesis working again so i'm flat broke. they won't care though. i've got it put in a big rubbermaid container and i've only let them see it once each so they're all excited. i do wanna get a turbotap someday, but turbo zone direct is out and it may be like $50 on ebay. i've always found it a little odd that the turbografx is one player by design.

i'm waiting for a new RF switch to get here so i can play my turbografx again after like 3 years. soon as i get it i'm gonna invite my youngest nephews over to play it. they're 7 and 10. anyone think i should reconsider and just go with the initial super nintendo plan?

i know all that. i've been rummaging around through various sites with info on NEC's systems for the past week now before i found here. out of like 1,000 games we got like 140. i'll look into it, maybe i'd get a kick out of it...but i'm not much for import games.

okay. i'm mostly into RPGs and stuff but i'll play almost anything as long as it doesn't sound stupid. and kidding or not it came from the desert looks pretty cool. i love the corny stuff.

yeah. i noticed the pc engines going for like $40. but other than as a collector's item those are kinda useless and i couldn't play anything on it, whether it's my inability to comprehend japanese, or the system's inability to play american hucards.

i already have china warrior. it's second only to splatterhouse. i'll definitely look into the other ones you reccommended.

hey. i'm a budding collector and i'm looking for a few turbografx games to add to my collection. i'm currently winning some auctions for bonk's adventure and the legendary axe, but i wanna own a few more and i don't really know what's good and what's bad. if anyone can help me out i'd really appreciate it.

i'm new here, obviously, and i'm still also fairly new to the whole turbografx scene. my older brother gave me his a few years ago just on a whim and it came with six games.

initially i just played splatterhouse but then i checked out the others. alien crush, keith courage, china warrior, turrican and world class baseball. one by one i was swept away by each game...ones my brother says he never even played.

he bought it for splatterhouse, and that was fine with me. i've just recently started to expand what is now my library and i'm looking for people that share my enthusiasm for the coolest systems ever, as well as some that can fill me in on some good games in the proper forum.

thank you for your time, and goodnight.
