PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable. |

What's the plan for you all? I'll be going to a restaurant with the almost-whole family (around 35) since we simply don't fit at any house lol.

Been watching Netflix's Ozark (Jason Bateman). It's quite decent... anyways I am on ep 7 of 10 and it's still quite unclear how it will finish or what are they actually doing. I guess there will be more seasons seeing it's a bit slow unless they suddenly do a major thing for the last 2 episodes.

I buy 1 game or 2 when I see a good deal on forums and I have the money... which is rarely ever lol.
PS: I only got 2 hucard games and 4 cd games... rest are burned cd's.... sigh... sob...

Hi guys!
I am not really active on this forum but I like to be reading all the new (and not so new) posts to learn more about the PCE/Turbo and I am glad I was able to get my system and a bunch of games before it was too late. Thanks to you guys I managed to play few of the best games the system has, impressive shooters like Gates of Thunder or Winds or Thunder (which has one of the best soundtracks PC Engine has, imho) and games like Bonk that kept me playing again and again.
I really want to wish you a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2017! You are awesome, guys

Unfortunately way too late for me. I bought the system around the same month I joined this site.
Been several months checking videos, reviews, trying some roms on emulators.... but once I got the system here, aww man that was awesome.
I spent a zillion of hours the first week, it might be an old system... but not having seen a PCE ever in my life (besides videos) was amazing to have one in front of me after all those years, plus I only saw around 2% games and every single thing I tried on the system was new to me.

I recently bought a Sega CD and if we are talking about catalogue only I'd say TurboCD wins (imho).
Sometimes I got troubles to pick a game to play on the NEC console because I couldn't decide on so many games to try. On the other hand, when seeing the Sega CD games I had troubles to pick a "non meh" game... sega got few good CD games like Sonic, Final Fight, Shining Force and such, but as for the rest ugh...
