Buy/Sell/Trade / Wanted: Winds of Thunder

Looking to buy a complete copy of this.  I know I'll probably go to ebay as I doubt anyone would want to part with this, but can't hurt to try.  I can pay via paypal.

Some obey and non obey today

Obey came strong today!  I'm off tomorrow so Gradius II will go for a run tomorrow!

Playing Last Alert/Red Alert.  Outside of the cheesy acting, its like playing through an 80's action B movie.

Been looking at D&D order of the griffon, but the price tag on ebay is up there.  Anyone can provide some insight on the game?

This just in.  Will hold me over until Monday when some pc engine shmups come in.

Edit:  they just came in.  80 including ems seemed like a good deal to me.

That Mega Man cartoon is probably what kept me going at my darkest times in this life. May it do the same for you.
Yes, this cartoon was one of my all time favorites and it did the same for me.  This, mighty max, and Saturday morning cartoons really made a difference.

Exile is boss.  You should def try it.  I'm finishing up YS 3 today.  Still my favorite of the original versions.  Snes has the best translations and a cool opening but the turbo version is still better.

This showed up the other day.  It feels like black tiger/black dragon but more difficult.

Birthday coming up so I got a few obeys I wouldn't normally pay for.  Got a really good deal on Jackie Chan.

Got this replacement cable in finally.  It wasn't too hard to swap it in, but it works perfectly!  Also got some other obeys coming in soon.

I just now finished exile too.  There's a lot of heavy religious stuff to lay on for so old a game.  As far as buying it new, you used to be able to buy them from working designs site back in the day for about the same price.  There's a ton of copies out there.

Got these recently, happy to have download again.

Quote from: bust3dstr8 on 04/10/2015, 07:58 PMViewpoint, great music, throw the controller and kick the cat level of aggravating gameplay.
I got the Genesis version because I found it for $10 at a used book store & it seemed like a good deal, and I like shooters.  I've yet to actually play it, though.  I'm waiting til I over clock my genesis.  I didn't think the music in that port was super great, though.

Quote from: richc on 04/10/2015, 09:15 PMKid Chameleon.  Super repetitive and really 80s but its got some rockin tunes.

Also, Light Crusader.  The music is superb, but the gameplay is bland.
Everyone I meet my age that's played Kid Chameleon just showers it with praise, but I indeed find it to be mediocre.

Light Crusader, on the other hand, I thoroughly enjoy...except for the fact that the puzzles reset when you leave a room.  Very obnoxious.
I love both KC and LC, but I know they aren't for everyone.  I did a YT playthough of Crusader a few years ago, with a little more polish it could have been awesome.

I think they do if you reset and load the save file.
This is true.  I finished my play though of Neutopia 1 and I would soft reset to get my health reset.  I like the game better than the original Zelda for the presentation and the variety of music.  Plus the bosses are pretty large and imposing.  What I don't like is the hitbox and hit detection- the enemies can easily swarm you.

Game, Hucard, manual with case.  Dunno what these go for anymore as ebay is usually high.  I'll have pics after work, think the front case has some cracks.
#24
Cleared blazing Lazers before work.  Only 3 deaths, still got the skills!
#25
Nice on the ys IV.  Was trying to burn a translated disc this weekend with no luck.
#26
This weekend I spent with Neutopia, legendary axe 2, and exile.  Forgot how good Neutopia and its music are. After work I'll probably spend some more time on it as I've finished only the first 4 dungeons.

Edit: nothing wrong with deep blue!  It's a neat little game, but I'm not brave enough to try Addams family.
#27
Its white like the one in eBay auction.  I'm gonna order one of them tomorrow.  I wish I had solder skills, I'd solder in the monoprice cable for a super long cord.   Thanks for the help everyone!
#28
That metal is long gone.  I've had this controller since the early 90s.  Didn't have the heart to toss the controller when I found it a few years ago.
#29
Wow sweet!  Thanks!
#30
I still have the TG-16 controller from my original system from years ago.  Problem is the metal connector part has broken off.

I remember at one time having a duo pad that was a converted TG-16 pad from tzd back when they were still active.  If I got one of these:
 http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10215&cs_id=1021501&p_id=534&seq=1&format=2
is there someone in the US that can convert it for me?  I can't solder to save my life.

Mailman dropped this by today, can't wait until tomorrow afternoon when I can go home and play.

Send me an offer, my price is probably off but its what I paid a few years ago.

Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 03/22/2015, 08:08 PMI played through Kaze Kiri.

Why this is a $100+ game is beyond me.  It looks and plays great, but it's too short & repetitive.  Don't get me wrong, I like it a lot as games such as these are few and far between on the PCE, I just don't know why it's so expensive.
It's one of those really late release games; probably one of my favorite ninja games of all time.  But as you said,  very short.

Got a new, sealed copy of PC engine neutopia.  I no longer need it as I have the USA version.  $35 shipped priority in USA.

You bastard, how much did you pay for that Neuterpia?

Also, I got me a copy of Gomola Speed in the mail today, Esteban.  Looking forward to figuring this one out, it looks crazy.
More than I wanted ugh, but the seller is about an hour away from my house and runs a used game shop.  Probably going to take a road trip down there in a couple of weeks.

Finally back in the game.  Dunno how my fiancée picked out Super Star Solider, but not going to complain.  Waiting on Broken's rgb amp and the obey chip to get this fully modded up.

That is so awesome.  Always wanted to play Coryoon but can't do that price tag.  Maybe one day.

Dunno if these have been mentioned:

OutLive
Chikudenya Tobe
Download.  I really want to know whats going on with this cyberpunk adventure.

Of course, City Hunter.

Play 1 first and then 2.  1 blows the original LoZ away to me.  Better colors, controls, variety of music, detailed bosses.... its just a great game.  Neutopia 2 is also good, but there are a lot of spoilers if you play 2 first.  I'd make sure you have a lot of time before playing 2, its a monster of a game.

Jackie Chan arrived today so I thought I'd snap a pic of some of the goodies I've picked up recently. :D
Let me know how Jackie Chan goes, I used to have the NES version as a kid.

Fiancee surprised me with an order of a Duo-RX and one game.  I'll have pics when it gets here.

Playing this rom hack of splatter house.  It's pretty difficult.  Or I'm not used to the layout.  Still worth checking out:

Quote from: blueraven on 02/21/2015, 02:03 PMI felt the same way about Tatsunoko Fighter.
I really tried to like that game.  Couldn't do it.  Currently replaying YS III, everyone usually complains about the parallax scrolling but the voice acting- bleh.  Love the music and the hit detection isn't as bad as the snes version.

Saw this posted in a PC engine group on FB.  Reading back I've got to say this is eye opening.  I always thought he translated and made those games himself.  I can totally see how that guy would have a huge chilling effect on the people/teams that put the effort into translating /patching/ect on them.

I think it was said before, but if this guy doesn't know much about coding, best thing to do is to put some kind of disclaimer in the rom.
#48
This is what I have left of my old collection, this time I'm going to do it right.  Less of the collecting and more of games I want to play.

Won this one today!  Played a bit of it a long time ago and I remember the soundtrack and gameplay was really good.
Ha, I was gonna shoot for that one until it went up too high, so I just bought this one for about $1.50-$2 less.

http://ebay.to/1FDoy8o

I needed a copy, since I'm raffling off my PCE version. :D
I kept looking for a BIN of it but I couldn't find any.  I was going to shoot for a PCE one but it does require some reading.
