Quote from: HailingTheThings on 04/27/2015, 01:29 AMYes, this cartoon was one of my all time favorites and it did the same for me. This, mighty max, and Saturday morning cartoons really made a difference.Quote from: richc on 04/26/2015, 07:27 PMFew obeys and non obeys over the weekend. That Mega Man cartoon is probably what kept me going at my darkest times in this life. May it do the same for you.
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 04/10/2015, 11:19 PMI love both KC and LC, but I know they aren't for everyone. I did a YT playthough of Crusader a few years ago, with a little more polish it could have been awesome.Quote from: bust3dstr8 on 04/10/2015, 07:58 PMViewpoint, great music, throw the controller and kick the cat level of aggravating gameplay.I got the Genesis version because I found it for $10 at a used book store & it seemed like a good deal, and I like shooters. I've yet to actually play it, though. I'm waiting til I over clock my genesis. I didn't think the music in that port was super great, though.Quote from: richc on 04/10/2015, 09:15 PMKid Chameleon. Super repetitive and really 80s but its got some rockin tunes.Everyone I meet my age that's played Kid Chameleon just showers it with praise, but I indeed find it to be mediocre.
Also, Light Crusader. The music is superb, but the gameplay is bland.
Light Crusader, on the other hand, I thoroughly enjoy...except for the fact that the puzzles reset when you leave a room. Very obnoxious.
Quote from: guest on 04/01/2015, 10:12 AMThis is true. I finished my play though of Neutopia 1 and I would soft reset to get my health reset. I like the game better than the original Zelda for the presentation and the variety of music. Plus the bosses are pretty large and imposing. What I don't like is the hitbox and hit detection- the enemies can easily swarm you.Quote from: guest on 04/01/2015, 03:12 AMAnd not every password lady will heal you.I think they do if you reset and load the save file.
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 03/22/2015, 08:08 PMI played through Kaze Kiri. It's one of those really late release games; probably one of my favorite ninja games of all time. But as you said, very short.
Why this is a $100+ game is beyond me. It looks and plays great, but it's too short & repetitive. Don't get me wrong, I like it a lot as games such as these are few and far between on the PCE, I just don't know why it's so expensive.
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 03/21/2015, 12:09 PMMore than I wanted ugh, but the seller is about an hour away from my house and runs a used game shop. Probably going to take a road trip down there in a couple of weeks.Quote from: richc on 03/21/2015, 10:45 AMObey from the mailman today! You bastard, how much did you pay for that Neuterpia?
Also, I got me a copy of Gomola Speed in the mail today, Esteban. Looking forward to figuring this one out, it looks crazy.
Quote from: Jinxed on 02/27/2015, 10:24 PMSo i picked up a game lot, they were delivered a couple of days ago. That is so awesome. Always wanted to play Coryoon but can't do that price tag. Maybe one day.
super happy as i got a few games i would not normally be able to afford.
Quote from: guest on 02/25/2015, 08:55 PM/IMG_0022-600x400.jpgLet me know how Jackie Chan goes, I used to have the NES version as a kid.
Jackie Chan arrived today so I thought I'd snap a pic of some of the goodies I've picked up recently.
Quote from: blueraven on 02/21/2015, 02:03 PMI felt the same way about Tatsunoko Fighter.I really tried to like that game. Couldn't do it. Currently replaying YS III, everyone usually complains about the parallax scrolling but the voice acting- bleh. Love the music and the hit detection isn't as bad as the snes version.
Quote from: VenomMacbeth on 02/20/2015, 01:27 PMI kept looking for a BIN of it but I couldn't find any. I was going to shoot for a PCE one but it does require some reading.Quote from: richc on 02/20/2015, 12:24 PMhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Bloody-Wolf-TurboGrafx-16-1990-Complete-/361215517501?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=KPOG2XQt9mqV2ZxyjPTWb62E4Ig%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncHa, I was gonna shoot for that one until it went up too high, so I just bought this one for about $1.50-$2 less.
Won this one today! Played a bit of it a long time ago and I remember the soundtrack and gameplay was really good.

I needed a copy, since I'm raffling off my PCE version.
