I would like the caps replaced (sound is exceptionally loud, but video looks crappy--mind as well do both), and possibly a TV out mod and/or external controller port added.

Willing to pay a fair bit for everything!

I've seen youtube videos, contacted them / looked at old forums talking about it, but no one seems to be doing it anymore.

The GG can accept a Master System controller in its stock form, you just need to grab a cable for it. It allows 2 people to play, the first player still uses the GG and the second player uses the controller.

I know someone locally that does it but I'm in Australia so this won't be much use to you.

On youtube, it also shows the ext controller port being used as the main player 1 input, which is what I'm more interested in at this point.
