SOLD:FS: Sega Genesis console and games

I have a boxed Sega Genesis in MINT condition I am going to go ahead and part with.    Dont really want to.  But, I am literally just keeping it to keep it at this point.  It doesn't get played much.  Nice thing about this console, is that it has been modded.   S-video jack has been added where RF once was, and RCA jacks added for composite video and stereo sound.  The picture and sound are spectacular on this console.  Sound volume is controlled by the headphone jack volume slide.  I will also include all the games I have for the system.  All of them have their manuals, except for Joe and Mac,Dragons Fury, and Phantasy Star II.  I am up in the air with how much I want for this, as I dont want to lose too much money on it.  But, I am not looking to make a ton either.  I will attach some pics, for people to look over while I think over a fair price for me and a potential buyer.  

Box is in very good condition, no tears or rips.

Stack of games, including a fan creation of Sonic CD programmed by Team MegaMix.  You can play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Mighty, or Shadow in this game.  Lots of fun.




All of these games were cleaned by me.  I actually took apart each cart, and cleaned the connectors till they were like new.    Each game has also been tested and played by me.  All of the battery back-up games retain their saves as well.  

If this is something you would like, and have an idea of what you would pay, go ahead and PM me.  I do plan on thinking about it some, but at least wanted to put it out there with pics for people to see.  If there is interest in selling things separate, then I may do that as well.  If that is what happens, I will edit the thread, and break it down by whats available and sold.

Not to further derail a sales thread or anything, but Sega actually did some impressive things with the Genesis. Look at Virtua Racing. It's not even comparable to the arcade, but its still awesome looking and fun as hell to play. At least I think so.

Not saying they didn't.    I just never really got into them too much.  Think my faves from the system were Sonic 1, Phantasy Star III, and Faery Tale Adv.

Master System-My brothers got a complete collection and I really enjoy physco Fox, Alex Kidd games, Golden Axe Warrior, and Ghost and Goblins

Genesis-Also has a lot of good games, but I'm not a fan of Sonic and the Colors are blah!

32X-Cluster Fuck with lots of shitty games

Dreamcast- I don't really have an opinion on.

Ever since i got a genesis agian i enjoy owning it.

Mostly for these games and not just sonic.

As for your sega-cd comment yes to many fmv games but i've found enough good titles for it.Such as Popful Mail,Lunar TSS&EB,Keio Flying Squadron,Shinging Force CD etc.

SMS never interested in it but has some good ones.

32X a waste at least in my eyes.

Saturn have a huge collection but not every game for it is expensive.You just 'gota know where to look.I can say the same for the DC a console that handle ports of arcade games very well.
