No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! Site's back up and running properly now.

Man that looks awesome.  Definitely a classic game that I loved so much when it was new.

I'm downloading it right now via the torrent mirror. The first release lets you play up to the Lambda Core, so it doesn't have an ending, though it does have a large 2/3 of the game. The reason their doing this is so they can get feedback on what should be changed/tweaked before it's final release.

I've played quite a bit of this mod now and I must say it's very impressive! It really feels like an official remake that valve would made if given the opportunity.  I highly recommend this to everyone! I believe it's available on steam now for free and only requires Source SDK to be installed in order to run, which is also free.

Quite a good price, no? You've got nothing to lose.
