The "I've got REVIVAL CHASE" thread!

Not only is RC a decent game, but I'm really digging the magazine itself. Revival brings me back to why I love video games - it's nothing but pure excitement and enthusiasm for creative new games. No modern Hollywood shovelware. No Call-of-Duty military recruitment PR masquerading as a new FPS. No collectors drooling over rarity. No pontificating "retrogaming" historians playing the sage. Just a great magazine.

THIS POST ALONE makes me want the game BAD!!!!! Damn it, I had just convinced myself that I can wait. DAMN YOU.

Finally had a chance to play it last night. Love it! Sure, it's a Lock n' Chase clone, but it's a damn good one! I love the different modes, and the game plays really well. Haven't had the chance to try multiplayer yet, though.

DUDE, report on the multiplayer when you get a chance. I am very curious about it (my oldest daughter, 9, is totally into old games and especially likes multi-player...so pretend you are a nine-year-old girl when you play the game! )

Sounds good to me. Just be careful you wash your feet when you are done.

You never know what kind of germs/bacteria your feet might be exposed to when using a TurboPad.

Glad to see that some of you really like Revival Chase and all its game modes. I think that you will appreciate the hidden shooting games too ;)
And glad to see that you not only consider the game but also the ReVival magazine. Yes, it is made by passion, and just for the pleasure of playing such cool homebrew and retro videogames!

After getting home from the hospital this week I had a lot of free time on my hands to play some Turbo and PCE so of course I played a lot of Revival Chase. So far I'm really impressed and I love all the different features like the multi-player and the ability to play the game with a classic Atari 2600 skin. I even did a quick review on my website below. Does anyone know the codes to unlock the shooting games though?
