Turbo Express possible problem

While playing my recapped turbo express, I heard a pop, and the screen flickered a bit, and then a few minutes later the same, and the unit continued to work. However now when i turn it on i get a green screen for a moment then the system turns goes to the game.

Did it do that before and am i just being paranoid, or should i be concerned?

I seem to remember the screen being black before going to the game, or when there is no game. Can someone else confirm this?

its green whether the brightness is up or not.

I would open it up and see what that pop was. Could be one of the cap exploded.
