No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! What do you guys make of the following?  Claims to be A NEC TG-16 used at shows and events to promote upcoming games/the system.

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

it may be (or is) a sample unit, but I wouldn't call this out a whole prototype. It may not even differ much to the retail version, except the different stickers put on the back.

I'm sure it's a standard system.  It even has the FCC ID info. molded into the case.
