Heh, I saw the HDMI NES at the Midwest Gaming Classic in the NintendoAge room, it was a mod going PPU into HDMI somehow.

whats funny is, even with RGB, it doesn't look that great.

I'm good with my composite modded NES.   It produces a good picture through the XRGB.
This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Yeah.  I have a NES that I RGB-modded a few years ago.  It's sharp as hell and the colors are bright, but the palette is all wrong and some games look awkward.  Because that NES has a weird problem that I haven't been able to solve, I started using an unmodded system again, and plugged into a PVM with a comb filter turned on, the NES looks damn good in composite.

This mod looks awesome, but it also looks like a lot of work.  De-soldering a chip without damaging it is not easy.  Just today in fact I tried to de-solder a chip from an MVS cartridge, and I finally gave up and cut that thing out of there.  Did the same thing with my NES when I pulled the original PPU out.  I've been keeping an eye on this project:

Put I'm not sure that I have the energy and motivation to RGB mod any more systems.
