I usually spend my time on these forums down in the PCE Developers threads but I do check in here every time I check the forums. I KNEW I had to read this thread and it didn't disappoint.

What I love the most is, the guy who started this thread hasn't posted since August 26 on page 4. So thats three pages where people just keep going. I really do love it

I might offer a basket of fresh born kittens. Unfortunately, eBay only lets you make an offer with money. Pfft...stupid.

Also, I got my copy for $0 because the disk has a scratch that may affect gameplay. So....

The lesson I've learning is...

A) Piece of thin plastic surrounding a plastic jewel case of a game that you won't be able to play, cuz you won't open it = $600

B) Plastic jewel case surrounding a disk that has a scratch that may or may not affect a game you will at least get to play = $0

Perfectly reasonable I think.

Oh yeah, I made one of those offers. Since I said I would offer a basket full of new born kittens for the game, but eBay won't let me do that, I looked up the value of a basket full of new born kittens (mint) on www.kittenbasket.pricecharting.com. Turns out, $23.68 US. My offer was declined.

But still $50 more than what it was listed at before he jacked it up to $600.  Look at his complete listing of available items and see that it's listed as "$549.99  List price: $499.99", and who wouldn't want a sweet deal like that?
