2/13/2025: Localization News - Cosmic Fantasy 3-4!

Rather earth-shattering news in the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 community: Cosmic Fantasy 3 & 4 has been officially localized to English by Edia 30 years later for the Switch! Hard to believe! I know their script quality is poor given the 1&2 port but still good to see.

have seen on the PCE/TG16, that were done in other platforms. Specific games not just genre.

Personally, I would have loved to have seen

Mortal Kombat
Magical Pop'n
The rest of the Shinobi series

the system is over 20yrs old, I am sure these questions have been covered multiple times, however these posts often bring about some great gems that I've never heard about.

That you participated in
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)
BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Ring any bells?

Holy shit this forum needs some mods...

Nando

HAH! Close enough I suppose, kinda why I started this thread.  I felt that was just more genre driven after we got done talking about Rampage. But I see your point. I'll leave this one hanging around ;)

PunkCryborg

CrackTiger

Wonderboy
Fantasy Zone II
Phantasy Star + proper sequels
Destiny of an Emperor
Black Tiger
Tiger Road
Wardner
Snow Bros
PC Cocoron
Shadowgate
Monster World IV
Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games designed for PCE CD. Closest we've come to what that would look like is FFIV PSP
Gladiator
Ghosts 'N Goblins
Trojan
Pulstar
Metal Slug
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Tengai Makyou III
Final Fight
Contra
Alien Syndrome
Willow
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Nando

Alpha 3 as a SCD title?

Willow was on?

bob

Nando

I would do Halo as an operation wolf/space harrier/contra hybrid

Nando

Timing is everything Nulltard

Wii sports would need an ObeyMat!

bob

Actually, i would love to see space harrier get a reboot.  Lots that could be done with the current gen.

geise

You know that would actually be really awesome if put in the right hands.  That 3DS Sega pack (that Tats still probably plays religiously) does make me want to pick up the system.

Metal Slug on Neo Geo Pocket was pretty good so that would be doable.

Nando

Quote from: Tatsujin on 11/22/2013, 06:26 AMI want metal slug 1, 2, 3 on NES.

OMG!! YES!! colors will be gone but damn it the animation can stay pretty damn smooth

Didn't know about there being a NeoGeo pocket version of this...interesting.

Galam did you ever play Planet Harriers?

bob

Nando

Quote from: galam on 11/22/2013, 11:54 AMNo, what is it?
As far as I know, the last in the Space Harrier series. Arcade only.
