How do you use the PC Engine Wireless Pads???

Does anyone have a working set of PC Engine Wireless Pad(s)?

I bought a mint boxed set along with 2 brand new spare pads, but have never been able to get them to work.  

Is there some kind of trick to them?

Is there a switch or something I missed on the receiver?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me!

I have a wireless pad set and have had problems running it through an extension cable.  If I hook up the extension cable between the Duo and the Tap - the wireless pad won't work on any of the five ports.  I'd try hooking the receiver directly to your duo.  Make sure the connections are clean and the batteries are fully charged, as mine will quit working even when the batteries are about one third charged.  There is an on/off switch on the controller as well a selector for which controller (1-5).  Good luck!

make sure you have the full set (PI-PD11) and then plug in the receiver directly into the socket on the console. don't use the multi-tap of any sort.

also make sure to point one to the receiver as these thing is using IR.

It looks like it was just the on/off switch on the pad that I was missing.

-and yeah, it really does need to be lined up to the receiver to work, but that's fine by me.
