Is there an official release date for physical console copies of this game yet?

If I remember correctly it's October 13th.  I think you can even pre-order.  It's only supposed to retail for like $20 which is cool.

Free for wii-u,3ds,xbox-one,PS4,PS Vita,PS3,PC for the plague of shadows dlc.I completed the game but i had to use a code to unlock it.

Where do you get the code from?

I e-mailed yachtclubgames and they gave me the code.

At the title screen hold the attack button and press this.
Up,Up,Left,Down,Right,Right,Then release attack

Got the Wii U version, it's a retro game done right....now someone needs to bang out a PCE port

Ah, so Zelda II was the other borrowed aspect... Yeah, it's been so long since I played that, but watching his video where he pointed that out about the hard double jump on an enemy reminded me! I really do gotta show my support for this thing soon via Steam! Does sound/look fantastic.

Just bought this game today on the Wii U for $20. Like many here, I don't care for digital copies. So, I got the physical disc new. I think the last game I bought brand new was Soul Calibur III for PS2. Anyway, I'm loving the game. It just feels so well-made.

Also, what happened to GreatBlueSwirl? I miss him. Well, maybe not him, but his comments were always good for a laugh.

I got this for Wii U as well and picked up an Amiibro.  It's definitely fun, I just wish I had more time to soak into it.

I haven't bought any amiibo's yet, but I am considering buying this one for the extra content. I also read that the box for it is shaped in such a way as to allow scanning through the package.

Everyone says how it feels like an NES games. That seems unfair as there are so many terrible and unfair NES games in its library. I'd say it's more like an old Capcom game. Controls are tight and difficulty is average. There's even a boss at the end of each level.

That would be awesome, I picked up Saturday Morning RPG(Vita) from them, though was only able to nab the regular edition.  I was thinking of getting one with the soundtrack since it was done by Vince DiCola ala Transformers the Movie!

Sounds like they are doing Cosmic Star Heroine, I've been waiting for that one.  Influenced by Phantasy Star, Chrono Trigger, & Suikoden(my personal fav).

I finished the main game last week and must say that I loved the game. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun it was. It was like playing an old school 8-bit game from Japan. I hope a sequel or something similar is in the works.

I have this on PS4 and Vita. Although it is great on both. I love it on my Vita. I think they are working on another one. However I would be interested in seeing whatever they do next.
