Here's an interview with that John Lee dealing with Turbo CD games on the Virtual Console - http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/specialArt.cfm?artid=14527 .

I was hoping he would go more indepth about the compression method. We still don't know how big these games will be! :D

No problem, but I really hope more details are released soon! I did find it interesting when he described the problems they have when trying to get a license from a company that's out of business.

If they did come up with a Wii channel or firmware that allowed for original Turbo CD media to be played, they would probably find some way to make it region locked.  ](*,)

I kind of lol john lee that stated the turbo-cd being a impressive catalog.

Sure it had it's share of good titles like was released here for the hucards.

Still it's small compare to the library of games that the pce got.

I would imagine they would consider releaseing titles..that were jpn only in the future.

Becuase,if they don't they are gonna run out of games befor you know it.

I just have a feeling they're going to release Japanese titles eventually. To go through the effort of figuring out how to properly compress CDs for the Wii they would be stupid to let simple translating to English get in the way. So, I have faith. You know they want to bring out Dracula X.

That's if konami would let hudson emulate it for the vc.

Beside it's coming to the psp any ways.

If konami let it happen it would be for a while if they could at all.

CrackTiger

I wouldn't have expected to see any Konami PCE games make it to the VC if Konami hadn't bought Hudson, but given that they're now related I think that it may happen.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!
