Hello there,
can anyone tell me how to get through the pit with all the floating ninjas on level 7 of Ninja Spirit.  I got there last night and must have tried over a hundred times but I always get sliced up before reaching the bottom.

If anyone knows how to beat this part, please explain.

CrackTiger

I made a path that I used to take back in the day and each time I try it in recent years, I just kinda feel my way through.

If you use the sickle and attack downward the whole way it'll save you some instant deaths.

Otherwise, I believe that the 'trick/cheat' way is to hang a left right away and there's a clear streak all the way down.

Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

Here's my no death run of NS, you'll definitely see how I do it.

That part took me about 50 tries my first time through.

PCE Games countdown: 690/737 (47 to go or 93.6% clear)
PCE Shmups countdown: 111/111 (all clear!!)
Sega does what Nintendon't, but only NEC does better than both together!^^
<Senshi> Tat's i'm going to contact the people of Hard Off and open a store stateside..

I usually do the "hang left right away" method. There's just one guy who always appears right before you get into the empty zone to the left, I always pull back a little before running into him, then go the rest of the way left into the path. Of course, then I put on the bomb weapon (whatever it's called) and just start smashing the punks to the right for extra points. :D
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)
Conquered so far: Sinistron, Violent Soldier, Tatsujin, Super Raiden, Shape Shifter, Rayxanber II

I HATED that part first time around (never beat it).

Oddly enough, I played NS through recently, and I was able to find the right spot maybe on my 2nd try or so.-

I thought this to be a very frustrating part of the game. Isn't funl, it's the time of stuff that makes me want to shut the game off.

I usually move towards the left and find that empty spot. Saves time.

Amen to that, brotha.

I've never beaten that part. Ninja Spirit is lots and lots of fun up until that specific part. Then the fun takes a vacation and suicidal thoughts entire your mind.

that's when I usually turn the system off. I've probably tried to beat that spot 100 times. I'll have to try the move-left method.

nat

Cool beans. When I got home from work today I blew through the game.

It took a couple tries to find the sweet spot to the left but I found it. Just a word of advice: if you move all the way to the left to the cliff wall you're dogmeat.

The end boss is a world-class pussy. Arm yourself with the dynamite weapon, turn on the Turbo switches, and let him have it.

I seem to remember a thread about this a long time ago, but I had to mention it again... The ending "story" dialogue flashes on the screen SO FAST you barely get a chance to read the first sentence before it's gone. This also has been covered, but is the ending in Arcade Mode any different?

Apparently there's an extra screen in there:

I know this is an old thread, but damn I had to say something about this as well.

I tried going all the way right and used the sickle downward to save from instant death. After 20 tries or more, I stopped and thought there has to be some other way. I looked up gamefaqs and just like that I hanged left and pulled back. Then you just fall straight down just a little to the right of the left wall.  ](*,)

Yeah this got me HOT as hell, red faced, cussing out and all. Finally beat the game after a nice 2 hour session of dying on random parts of the game. The bosses are too easy when you use the bombs, except for the kite boss using a sword to beat. Now I can focus on finishing Super Star Soldier and the last stage on Bomberman '94.

Ceti Alpha

Yeah, that part pissed me off too. I must of forgotten how to do that "move to the left" trick since I last had the game years ago. I tried going down the right hand side and memorizing where all the ninjas are, but man just too many of them. I just beat the game a couple of weeks ago and found out the trick on youtube and worked like a charm. Woot. Ninja Spirit is awesome...slowdown and all.

Its odd how everyone loves the bombs. I always prefered the sword and grappling hook: they provide you a little sheilding that the bombs don't.

I only used the bombs for the 5th? stage(the one with the stone bosses). I like to use swords the most, since they look cool and block projectiles. A couple stages I use the stars quite a bit and on the 6th(thunderstorm) stage I stick with the sickle.

I use the bombs for a couple levels, but I switch it up often. I forget exactly what I use for each level and when, though I'll take another run through; I still have to beat it on Arcade Mode anyhow.
