Well, I finished the first mission of Team Innocent last night with the help of a walk through (my Japanese is non-existent).  It's a very cool game with a great graphical style.  I really like how it plays, even though the controls are a bit clunky.

I can't imagine figuring this game out without a walkthrough and not knowing Japanese, though.  That would be rough.

Cool game so far, though.

Yah, I too felt that the controls are a little clunky, but still enjoy the game....I still need to get all the way through it.

O_O Team Innocent, probably my favorite game Hudson did for the PC-FX (yes even above Zenki). TI is a totally original game, and I really loved the characters  and storyline. While the game isn't incredibly long it was worth the time you invest in it (plus its dirt cheap). For a launch game (12/24/1994), it was very impressive in terms of how long it was, and the amount of items you can collect (anyone know what the cigarettes do, if anything). While the character sprites are very lacking in detail, the backgrounds are mostly amazing and gave me alot of hope for what could be in the sequel.......WHY THE HELL WASNT THEIR A SEQUEL?
Im guessing that this was a very expensive game to make, along with Battle Heat.  I'm sure that these 2 games were big money-loosers for Hudson, but no ports of TI or sequels just make me sad.
I hope my small PC-FX site contained the walkthru you were using for TI, its a great game that is very rewarding to play through, and it's difficulty level is fair with only a couple places that really require translation skills to figure out what to do.
I've played through this game several times, which is why I place it above Zenki, which is great, but I havn't played it in awhile.

Heh.  I'm wondering where that last bit of points comes from.  Maybe you get  it in the hallway where the rat comes out of the room to chase you if you kill it.  I bet it's an item or two somewhere though.

Thanks neofan! I've tried playing through Team Innocent a couple of times but have got stuck and have given up always promising to play it "later". Well, with the help of your guide, I'm going to give it another go after the holidays. Here's hoping I see the ending this time. :)

NP...I love my PC-FX every time i get bored/disinterested in videogames, i throw in a game for an NEC system, usually for the PC-FX and remember why i love videogames

i knew that from collecting for the pcengine, that pc-fx games would be kinda tricky to get after release, so i tried to get them as soon as NCS got them in back in the day, just missing a few now that they didnt get in, or couldnt afford from my measly McD's job as a young'n

so if you get stuck in any others,,,,just let us know on here, chances are you can get help.... i got alot of detailed help with parts of my Miraculum walkthru from an Italian fellow.... not enough time in the world to try to translate that game!
