@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

I need to know if this is a good deal (prices in U.S.):

Turbo Express  (screen has small scratch) - $85 (no box, or accessories)
Turbo Grafx 16 - $29 - works but no AC adapter

Thoughts? I thought I could polish the scratch out on the Turbo Express. I haven't owned one of these for years, I imagine this should have sound issues like all of them do? I know the I can get the AC adapter for the turbografx pretty reasonable right now. Let me know what you think (or what I should bargain down to).

I would say that's a fair price on both, assuming the Express works fine.  A better deal is to order a new (yes, new) Express with bad audio from Mindrec.  http://mindrec.com/?main=store/index.php

Look up the Turbo Express audio fix writeup, it is stupid easy.  Install one cheap Radio Shack capacitor, you don't even have to remove the old one. Then you have a perfectly working NEW Turboexpress for less than the price of most used ones.
