Looks like our very own Thibaut was already looking at it too, based on the comments on the auction, good luck!  Anyone know the story on this and why it's so expensive/rare?  I've head about Darius Alpha but never this game.

It's Power League 1 from the Hudson's Power League series. Dunno how it was called in the USA.

also can someone tell me why the MD Tetris is so rare? obviously it is rare if Thibaut is interested hehe

Because they were all crushed when sega lost the fight vs. nintendo. Except some very few pieces which were probably saved by some sega workers back then.

Sure it is the most rare official Mega Drive game (official in terms that it was meant to be officially released) in existence and also sure one of the most thought after games in history of video games. Estimated price for a non-Alexei Patzinov- signed is above the US$15000.

oh that's right I did remember that story about how Nintendo went to Russia and got the rights for Tetris for Gameboy I just didn't know Sega actually had the game produced and made already by the time they lost the right to the game.

You are right. But it's kinde trustfully enough that the sign is real. Unless the curly guy on the pic is not himself for real.

Maybe it's just me, but I would prefer it without the signature.  And also, there is no way the signature increases the value that much.
