@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Hi everyone. I'm new here. I'm a very big fan of turbo grafx 16. I'm a collector, and i have over 80 games. I was an original owner of this system, and i had about 20 games from when i was younger. About 6 years ago i decided to try and complete my collection, and i've been at it evere since. I love turbo grafx and i think it's the best system of it's time, and the greatest system ever!!! I also collect sega master system games. I would love to trade with everyone here and hopefully we can help each other complete our collections.

Ok, here's the question:

I heard that there were 21 games that did not come with a jewel case. Can anyone please list them?

I can think of a few (correct me if i'm wrong):
Shockman
Hit The Ice
Air Zonk
Bonk 3 Hucard
World Sports Competition
Magical Chase
Samurai Ghost
Somer Assault
Neutopia II
New Adventure Island
Order Of The Griffin
Falcon
Jackie Chan

Welcome aboard, tg16maniac.  Keep an eye on the sales areas here; there's quite a few good peeps here that have goodies for sale/trade on a regular basis.

P.S. - Though it isn't a 'game', you can add the TG-CD system card to the list for a total of 22 U.S. HuCards that didn't come in a proper case.

yes, that's right, i never thought of that. Did the TG-CD System Card come with a manual? What packaging did it come in? How about the CD System 3.0 Card? Did that come in an original case, and did that case have an insert in the back?

The 2.0 system card had no case or manual (just a sleeve).  As TRON noted, it was only sold in retail channels packaged with the TG-CD add-on, though it was also available as a replacement part (loosey goosey) from NEC.

The 3.0 system card was packaged like the later PCE HuCards in a jewel case with a white tray, back insert, manual, and sleeve.  If I'm not mistaken, this is the sole HuCard sold in the US that was packaged in such a manner.

yeah, now i remember that ridiculously huge box that the CD unit came in. It was the size of a dishwasher, all full of styrofoam, with the little CD unit inside. I wonder why they did that. That was really strange.

They sold it loose, that's weird. Thanks for the info.

.... And thanks for the warm welcome guys!
