12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

can you get started in this field with a two year degree? or do all the decent jobs require a 4 year?

From what I've seen most places want a 4yr job.  Or at least that's how it is in my area.

Yes you can. Get a two year degree in electronics and you become an Electronics Technician. Continue skool for two more years and become an Electronics Engineer. It is an awesome field with lots of opportunities. I would really suggest going for the full for years, as you will make more money down the line. Electronics Technicians can make as much as Electronics Engineers over time, but if you decide to leave your company for another one, you have to start all over. That is why I recommend you go for the Engineer degree. Good luck buddy! :)

i want to begin with the 2 yr. to get out of my field and into electronics. hopefully this will make it somewhat easier to finish school, maybe get some "assistance" ,   some places do tuition reimbursement, prob not too many though. with the economy being soo shitty, pool jobs might not be around , don't know if i have 4 years .

Try for interships early on then.  You'll need experience to level the playing field.
