pc engine cd with turbografx

I just noticed how the pc engine cd rom 2 unit and the turbografx cd unit look almost exactly the same and was just wondering if you could use the pc engine cd unit with the turbografx 16 system and powerbase.

And if you put a US CD Rom with the IFU unit and A PCE white... you can start a wicked beautiful B&W checker board in your gameroom.

That's what im running since my PCE CD rom unit stopped working.  Got the dark gray core grafx I to give the system even more contrasting colors. :lol:
