Check it out, this is my first mod to a console I think it looks pretty sweet! I can post more pics if anyone want to see what I had to do. I couldn't find much info about doing the logo led mod. The only hard part was cutting through all the RF sheilds and the casing with a dremel. The logo lifts up pretty easily though. The RCA mod is totally worth it and was really easy to do, I pulled the video, audio and ground from the inside of the expansion port pins. It looks 100X better on the TV than through the RF. I'm just proud to show this off cause a few months ago I would have no idea how to do this.
This one is for my friend, but for my personal one I think I'm going to use a DIN 8 plug for the AV so I can use the same cables as my Duo-R.

On the one logo lit console I did, I ended up using 5 white LEDs with as large a degree pattern as I could get, but I think I could have used just 3. I simply drilled holes in the shielding and heat sink and pressed the LEDs in, simple.
Its also pretty easy to hide the 3 RCA jacks behind the rear cover.

I thought about hiding the jacks behind the cover but the cords would end up bending too much and I would've had to cut the support post inside the console. It doesn't look bad especially if you have the power coming out the same side. I only needed 1 led and it's pretty bright but I cut out the whole area under the lettering and it gives it nice light distribution.

Just so you know you will only need a 5 pin din jack to use the same cable as your duo-r. The other 3 pins aren't used for anything

Nice job. It gives the thing a pretty cool look.
