is it just me or is this game REALLy hard..?

I have it for Neo-Geo Pocket Colour and that one is MEga easy in comparison to the SCD ver.
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

I've completed it and I'm pretty sure I wasn't using cheats. And I'm pretty average at games. Can't remember if there's an easy mode hidden in there somewhere.

I actually thought the NGPC version was pretty hard :S .

This game wasn't too hard, but i also thought the X6800 version was way better. I heard so much hype over this game before it was released way back when, and it must have been the lingering attachment to the arcade that made people go nuts over it's then upcoming release for the SCD format, as i wasn't blown away wheni borrowed it from my buddy. I DO like it, it's just taht it doesn't seem to capture the excitement/flow of the arcade, or the X6800 version, which was practicly the arcade version to a "t"
