In any of the NeoGeos I have ever owned,AES or MVS,I never once considered using a Unibios upgrade.I just dont care for them. There are alot of pros to using one I am sure, but I perfer to enjoy my Neo in its original form.If I want AES mode,Ill buy another AES system and get a Phantom 1 converter again.
Thats just how I feel about the subject.I dont care to jump on the unibios train because everyone else does it to their system.
I might get one oen day if my bios ever fails,as a back up,but even then the chances are rare.
Its the same for me about s-video mods on AES decks.I believe in building a custom cable first, modding last.So if I were to buy a AES deck again,Id just build a custom cord using a Crazearcade kit or another type to get the job done.Im dead serious when I say I hate s-video mods.
I dont mind the altering of the internals so much, its the external caseing that bothers me the most.I can stand seeing a Neo AES uglified by jacks popping out the back end.

I see most of the reason to use a, Unibios is to unlock stuff change between u.s and jpn modes and such.

You know how bad, SNK was for censorship in the u.s.

Btw not every body use the, UniBios to cheat

The Unibios has too many bugs right now also.I think it is needed more on the AES side of things too then on a MVS.If I really want AES mode Ill buy a AES system again and get another Phantom 1 converter.

Wich bugs do you mean? My cmvs 2 slot has the, 2.1 in it and i haven't encounter any problems yet :?:  :!:

Unless your waiting for, Razoola to do a few.. more version befor trying dunno.

Still i feel it is better suited for, MVS then, AES since not every "AES game" suports a arcade mode.

Seen it befor can't say.. i've encounter those problems yet.

Still i can see why RA does a new version every year, or so to correct that problem.
