PC Engine Wizardry games

Does anyone know if any of the PC Engine Duo Wizardry games are playable at all in English?  That is, is there a lot of Japanese text in them?  I see them come up for sale cheap so often that it's quite tempting to pick one up!

from what I understand, most if not all menu options are in english....but story bits [what little there are] are in Jap.

I asked the guy from West Exit and thats what he told me.
