Question: Is Hani in the Sky beatable ?

As a big fan of the Hanny on the Road game (I've played through all the paths on that one) I've looked up the shooter that Hanny stars in. The first level, while getting progresively hard, is stil manageable. But then I get to the boss and after a few hits, it becomes literaly impossible for me to avoid getting hit by his hitbox when he teleports rights under me. I've tried most every item in the store, and even replayed the first level several times to get more money, but I don't seem to get any faster.

Anyone have any ideas ?

I've not played this, but I have Hany on the Road, and I always forget I have it.  I don't think it's very good, why do you like it?  Maybe I didn't give it a chance...

I haven't given it more than a cursory test drive, but it seems beatable.  Hopefully runin will come along (or you'll catch him in chat) to give some advice.

It's varied, has loads of interesting locations and enemies, the gameplay switches up from time to time and there are multiple paths to chose from, adding to the replay value.

Okay  saw Hanny in a police outfit.

Now I have to beat this sucker.

Maybe it's something with the way you're suposed to use the items you buy, I ca't realy ever notice a change after I buy them.

Update: I just beat it. The very last level took me a good 6 hours to even beat, because you can't acess the menu and use items/buy new ones during a boss fight.

But I did it. I have never spent so much time on a game before. Also, aparently after the credits roll and you start the game again, Hanny turns green.

Actualy all the colours are greenish.

Oh I remember this! Since then, I've actually heard a lot of good things about the game.  It's on my list, but it's a little pricey for what it is.

No way, hany is a cheapie. Shouldn't be more then $10

I see a loose copy on le Bay for about $15, and boxed copies for about $20.  Just seems like a lot for something I may or may not like.  I still have others in my list above Hani.
And I still haven't quite forgiven him for breaking my heart in his road adventure.
