So I picked up a PC Engine Duo-R, but it didn't include the ac adapter. Do you guys know which one will work properly without causing any problems? And since it's a Japanese system, should I buy some sort of voltage converter? Thanks for the help guys.

A voltage step down shouldn't be needed unless your in Europe or somewhere else that uses a 240v power system.

Normally I'd recommend an AC adapter from these guys....

But it seems that part of their page is down for the time being.... keep an eye on it, they supply excellent a/c adapters.

Bloufo

No voltage converter needed with this.

Depending on your location though you might need a plug adapter.

I recently purchased a Duo-R and the  seller had these listed as compatible AC adapters. I have a Genesis 2(3?) Adapter that is 10v and .3 amps and it works but I'm not sure if its safe to keep using. I'm afraid to risk it. Also I have  PsOne adapter but its only 7.5v so I don't know. The Duo-R I bought was refurbished and fully modded(rgb/region) so the seller was pretty knowledgeable.
