Note that the last one in the list is only playable locally and is a short demo for an upcoming game that also has graphics, sound, and music.

I actually didn't play them when they were popular. When Return to Zork came out I was so interested in the backstory that I bought "Lost Treasures of Infocom" when I was about 14 and always thought it would be neat to make my own game like that one day.
