OT: Ys: The Oath in Felgana (PS2 port?)

As I continue to enjoy Ys: The Ark of Napishtim on the PS2 (with cheat codes for anime sequences and Japanese voices, of course), I wonder if Konami has signed to release a PS2 port for Ys: The Oath in Felgana.  Anybody know?  Has a port been announced for the Japanese market?

If not, perhaps it's time to start writing Konami letters... :-)

No news yet still, NightWolve is supose to be making a english patch for the pc version.

You could all ways wait for that.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for oath having a ps2 port.

Beside i herd.. Ys 6 didn't sell well for the PS2

There won't be a PS2 port, I assure you.

However, Falcom's released an UMD disc full of trailers. One of them is YsF. Since they've recently started PSP development themselves (Gurumin and ED6), it is very possible that they'll port YsF over to the PSP. This, of course, does not mean the game will be translated to English.

NightWolve and Deuce has completely translated the PC game and a patch will (most likely) be released before the end of the year.

Just curious, where does your assurance come from....

poor sales of the PS2 version...?

I'd be happy to play it on the PC in English with a patch =]
If so, it'll be the first time I've bought a game for the PC since the early 90s...

But that doesn't mean I'm not going to write Konami to express my interest in future PS2 versions + disappointment if they're not in the pipeline...

No offense but konami are stubborn when listening to u.s gamers.

I remember when fans... worte letters and e-mails asking, Konami to release policenauts in the u.s.

In the end nothing happen konami just ignore it
