2/13/2025: Localization News - Cosmic Fantasy 3-4!

Rather earth-shattering news in the PC Engine / TurboGrafx-16 community: Cosmic Fantasy 3 & 4 has been officially localized to English by Edia 30 years later for the Switch! Hard to believe! I know their script quality is poor given the 1&2 port but still good to see.

Is there a definitive list of HuCard games that were released in the US? I am mostly going off of memory for my shopping list. I think it would be neat though to have a sort of check list to go through as I pick up games.

awesome, thank you!

There's an app called game vault that has the dates of released games.  I use it to see what I have, I'm not sure if they have all PCE and TG games, but all the games I've added they have had and the dates released.  It goes as far as dates for different regions.

It has dates for TG-16 games?  Where'd they come up with those?

Yea,it has the dates, but I'm not sure if they're correct.

I don't have an iAnything, so can you check a few titles and post the dates here?  I think the only titles we have solid dates for are Keith Courage and the WD games, so perhaps they're using the PCE release dates.

Just d/l'ed that. Thanks!

Thanks for the dates.  They're not PCE launch dates and I don't know where they came from, but some of 'em are certainly incorrect.  Like null said, Dragon Spirit couldn't have come out 8 months before the system (whose launch date is the 19th or the 29th depending on which website you wish to believe), and what're the odds that regionalizations of Splatterhouse and Ys III only took two weeks and three months, respectively?

Totally fabricated. Possibly Japanese release dates, or, the person who concocted this list just pulled them out of his hairy, factually incorrect a$$.
