10/31/2023: Localization News - Dead of the Brain 1!

No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! It would be sweet if everyone could change their name and avatar for a week, and like everyone chose Dino Velvet from 8mm for their nick, and used a pic of him for their avatar. Imagine like 20-30 Dino Velvets conversing to their-selves for an entire week. Just imagine it....

I got mine on 9/9/99. One of my most memorable moments from my teen years. Graphically I think it was the biggest generational leap from one console era to the next - Sonic Adventure felt like some relic from the future. I'd just run around looking at the grass textures and think to myself "Is it live or is it Memorex?" Steering back towards topic though, Dreamcast sure could have used a name change. Without context it's still one of the weirdest names ever for a console outside of Apple's Pippin.
