Localization Legend "Supper the Subtitler" has "joined the club" in being targeted for CD-pressings by bootleg master Tobias/PCEWorks! His projects like Private Eyedol, Galaxy Fräulein Yuna 1 & 2, etc. are now being sold on Chinese factory-pressed CDROMs...

For HuCard or CD.

What are your favorite co-op games for the system?

I just fixed up my PC-Engine Duo and did the region switch. Looking forward to trying Dungeon Explorer co-op now that I can :)

Already a thread for this but Bomberman and Dungeon Explorer are both excellent 5 player games. For shooter Aero Blasters and Ordye are also good.

Yeah, any of the Bomberman games by a long shot.  Back when I had friends who dug playing older games Bomberman '93 got a TON of gameplay.

Honorable mention goes to Double Dungeons.  I think that got about as much 2-player co-op as Dungeon Explorer at my house.

Splash Lake and Parasol Stars are fun co-op... Bonk III is also not bad... I had some fun with it co-op back in the day.

Retrocool

DE1,2 and Bomberman are to easy of picks....
I'll go with

Cadash

Splash Lake
It is what it is and it will be what it will be!

Looking for some games, but I will prolly never find.  Sapphire, Magical Chase (US)

Id have to go with Salamander. Its challenging though, which is like spicy food! Not for everyone but worth trying.

VestCunt

Psychic Storm is a good easy shooter.
Just got Bonanza Brothers today.  Haven't tried the two-player mode yet, but it looks promising.
I'm a cunt, always was. Topic Adjourned.

Arkhan Asylum

This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Sonic Spike, Dungeon Explorer, Shock Man, Panic Bomber, and Double Dungeons are fun.

For imports nothing beats Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari and Double Dragon II,  For ACD you've got Fatal Fury Special, World Heroes 2, and Art of Fighting!!
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Aero Blasters has two attacks you can only do with 2-players, and they are mighty powerful attacks, though they are really hard to coordinate (well, one is harder than the other, anyway). I wish more games did stuff like that.

I bet you're a big fan of Spicy Mode in Air Zonk!
Quote from: TurboXray on 01/02/2014, 09:21 PMAdding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).
