FS: LM1881 Sync Cleaners

I will be offering assembled LM1881 sync cleaners pcbs. These things are tiny at 19mm X 13mm x 3.5mm (0.75in X 0.50in X 0.15in). Small enough to fit easily into a Scart cable.

These are made using all name brand parts ( Texas Instruments, Kement and Panasonic) no cheapo
Chinamart knockoffs. The pcbs are also fabbed right in NJ USA.

what exactly does a sync cleaner do?

It extracts Csync from Cvid and also cleans up dirty sync signals.

It's a Sync Stripper. It's useful if you have an RGB monitor that requires clean synch.

In a lot of cases old game consoles output the sync information for RGB via composite video. If you're using an NEC XM family monitor for example, it won't be able to pull the synch information. This chip filters out the composite video signal so that the sync information is separated.
