Hi everyone.  I just finished installing my Obey and am getting only a black screen.  I checked the solder points, and they seem all right... am I just missing one that may not be connected, or is there something else that could be the culprit?  Thanks for any assistance!  Mike Shear

you should never get a black screen, even with a bad region install
check your 5V for shorts and system for power

If there were problem with data (missed solder, bad solder, wrong connection), you always get white screen. If the ground or power wasn't connected, you should get a white screen.

Black screen is worse.  Beside crossed or shorted power, check the board for loose solder blob or bits of wire that may have escaped your eyes and is shorting out something like the CPU pins.
