Hello all!

I am new to the board, but not to PC-Engine games  :D

I was wondering if anyone out there had a general idea of
what the story is to the Legend of Xanadu 2? My knowledge of
Japanese is limited, so I have been able to follow some of the
story, but I was curious to see if anyone has a more in depth
description of the story, and so forth. For example, what happens to
Sophia in the game, etc.

I just need to continue learning Japanese, as I love this
series, and hopefully one day, a translation will be available
for this series and other Falcom games.

Thank you all for your time and help! I appreciate it  :)

Legend of Xanadu II is a great game, one of my favorite action/RPGs for the PC Engine.  The only problem is that it is criminally short (I think it took me 8 hours to beat it) but it's a great adventure with some of the best graphics I've seen in a PCE RPG, also the PCM music is excellent too.

I speak Japanese (well, pretty much) but it's been years since I beat it so I can't remember the story at all.  Guess I'm not much help there =)

Yeah, Xanadu 2 is beautiful and I totally agree with thewestexit, the music is outstanding (especially in that last dungeon).

At first I preferred the first Xanadu because beating it felt like much more of an accomplishment since it's so long and difficult.  But I've come to realize the flip side of that: I've played through Xanadu 2 multiple times, and have yet to return to the first one.

...and with all that being said, I can't help with the story either.
