Best Zonk game? (including Coryoon)

Very few will vote for Super, so I included Coryoon as well. A lot of Coryoon's staff moved on to work on Air Zonk.

My vote goes towards AZ

Super AZ is ok. The lack of scrolls is just down right bullshite. Coryoon is nice, but the tunes just can't compare to Air Zonk chiptunes, as well as AZ's atmosphere.

It is. But once you get past the disappointment/expectations of an Air Zonk game, it's a fun little game. Not a big fan of the music though (which I plan on changing since they're CD tracks.. one of these days).

I have yet to really enjoy Coryoon or SAZ.

Air Zonk is great though.

For how much I like Air Zonk / PC Denjin, I would say SAZ is the biggest sequel let down for me on the Turbo.  It's not terrible,  but it is nowhere near as good as AZ.  It seemed like a lazy cash in on the success of the first game.  It could've been so much more being a SCD game.

super air zonk/cd denjin is quite disappointing, definitely not worth the money

air zonk/pc denjin is probably the best game from entire catalogue

coryoon is nice, but not as good as air zonk or magical chase

Man Air Zonk is a great game but it gets surprisingly difficult. There are so many bright colors and so much shit on the screen I sometimes lose Zonk in all the mix. Really need to have some good eyesight for this game.

A 1cc for me is going to be a bit difficult

As I've said before, I wish they would've used Red's Lords of Thunder game engine for SAZ.  Even then, the weapon system shouldn't have been changed, it was nigh perfect in AZ.

Well as the only one who voted for coryoon I felt the opposite. Neither game was hard but AZ was completely without challenge where as Coryoon at least was more entertaining to watch sprit wise for me. The waxy AZ attacks just seemed to gimmicky

Definitely Air Zonk.  SAZ is okay but fails to measure up to its predecessor in almost every way (its one bright spot is less repetition in the backgrounds), and Coryoon lacks the detail and variety found in Air Zonk's backgrounds.

I voted for Air Zonk.  Coryoon is a great game but all the various fruits flying around is a bit annoying and distracting for me.

Air Zone is awesome. The rest, not so great. Definitely not worth the money.
