Northeast meetup - Funspot/ACAM in Laconia, NH

A few folks showed interest in a Funspot meetup so I figured a I'd start a new thread bring some more visibility to this idea and see where it goes.

I'm in MA about 3 hours south of Laconia. I've been here a few times and try to get there at least once a year. The ACAM is mostly pre-1990 arcade/pinball and is located on the 3rd floor. Downstairs there are some newer machines, ticket games, Skee-Ball, etc. There's also a bowling alley and a small indoor mini-golf course. Someone in another thread mentioned that there are rooms available to rent but I don't know much about it yet.

That looks like a neat destination, but it is 6+ hours from me (Boston is a trek for me... so I wasn't surprised when I mapped this out).

It would be nice to meet folks in NE.

I'm always down for a meet up. I just need a REAL airport to fly into, and it'd be sweet to hitch a ride with an fellow obeyer from the airport. I've got a lot of cons, so the date will be deciding factor. After the first week of January, it looks like I've got a few weekends free.

I moved to Springfield, but i'm still down at some point, seems spring would be a perfect time to plan a day, to avoid the New England weather. I say we shoot for April or May?

Not sure I can participate in a meetup but I highly recommend this place if anyone hasn't been there before.

My friends and I drive out there at least once a year to play Space Harrier and Marble Madness. They take good care of their machines.
