@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

It never ceases to amaze me the gouging that happens on eBay. Apparently the US version of Samurai Ghost is the new, hip "Super R4R3! OMG!~!!~!11" Turbo game. I guess it's extremely cool to overcharge by $90 for this game. It's even cooler to be the poor asshole who pays $100 + S/H for an incomplete copy. Yay! Check out the following two auctions:

So does anyone know when Samurai Ghost started being considered a "rare" game? These douches are charging more than some people charge for Bonk 3.

The saddest part of the whole thing is that many people use eBay as a guide on how to price their video games on forums in the "real world." This is a big mistake and drives up the prices just because some anal polyp on eBay is trying to rip people off.

I rarely buy anything on eBay anymore because of this. That said, there are still good deals to be found. Why would I buy one of those packages above when I can buy the exact same thing for 1/10th of the cost? Witness:

What's more is this guy had a ton of loose HuCards for sale. I bought a whole bunch of them ranging from $4.99 to $9.99 and I only pay the $5 shipping charge once for the whole lot. In fact, I think that Samurai Ghost card was the only $9.99 title in the batch. Rare deals like these is why I keep my eye on eBay at all anymore. Fact is, this is probably a lot closer to the games' actual values.

Wow...that is absurd. Nice find on that lot of game though Nat.  8)

More douchebaggery from the first linked seller: $74.95 Bomberman.

Oddly enough, the rest of the two seller's TG-16 games are reasonably priced or only a bit high.

I find the Samurai Ghost example to be the worst since it's for a loose cartridge!!! $100 for a loose cartridge of a common game? I wouldn't pay $100 for a loose Magical Chase cartridge!

That said, the Bomberman deal is pretty bad too. Bomberman shouldn't be more than $15 or $20 complete, in nice condition.

Cripes! And the original Bomberman at that too! That's just crazy.  =;

I bought some games from that same seller. I was able to snag Dragon's Curse, Parasol Stars, and Air Zonk. I'm hoping my shipment arrives any day now.

CrackTiger

It looks like someone accidentally listed Samurai Ghost for $99.99 instead of $9.99 and someone with zero Turbo knowledge else saw it as proof that the game goes for that much and is trying to get $100 for a copy they probably only picked up after seeing the first mispriced auction.

If people would only use completed auctions as a guide for what things sell for on eBay they'd have a lot more success.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!
