LOl,yea he really took a down step in life from our point of view. But hes prob doing it,you know, living the/his dream lol.

Quite the versatile guy, considering he won an award in 1989 for designing cutlery. My guess though is that he would have designed the "package" for the PC Engine Duo (the casing specifically, maybe even some component placement), not the whole machine...so his design became what everyone saw, not what lies under the hood. Note that his degree at the time was in product design, not in electronics. :D
Turbo Badass Rank: Janne (6 of 12 clears)
Conquered so far: Sinistron, Violent Soldier, Tatsujin, Super Raiden, Shape Shifter, Rayxanber II

Yep,hes some kinda artsy designer guy, like those guys who design the outter looks for styled hair dryers,vacs,ect... He def did  a great job with the Duo at least.

I wonder what the designer of the RAU-30 is up to these days.  For some reason I'm guessing his career has been less prosperous.
I'm a cunt, always was. Topic Adjourned.

yeah..the DUO is, without any doubts, one of the best looking consoles ever created. iirc, the DUO also got a design award from some US home consumer electronics competition back then, with the 7th rank or so.

The PCE and Duos are lovely examples of simple, modern design; much better than the contrived designs of most consoles.

I bet he's living in a van down by the river along with the goof that designed the TG-16.
