Hello all I have a ? that would be best suited to the experts here. I have a Turbo Express I picked up with no vid and faint sound. I started replacing some caps and found a no-no. The red and blue wires that come off the batteries go to a 2 pin connector on the PCB board. The connector was corroded and I am wondering if this was/is causing a problem. Attached is a pic I am worried about the connection on the left any ideas on how to fix this? any help would be appreciated thanks :)

if it powered up the connector was not your issue.
the vid and sound probs have been covered in cap change threads.
if the connector is too far gone you can solder directly to the motherboard, just watch the polarity

I was wondering if the connector was causing a low voltage situation is this possible? and where should I solder to the board, thanks :)

you would solder to where the connector is if needed.
you can check the board voltage at the power adaptor jack (about 1v lower than batt)
