WTT or Buy: Region modded PC-Engine Duo or US Turbo Duo

Hi all, new to the forums and have read nothing but positive things here. I was hoping someone could help me out with a situation I have. I recently picked up a somewhat working PC-Engine Duo-R on an eBay side deal for $170. The HuCard slot works fine, but the CD drive only seems to work part of the time. It will spin the disc and load a game, but after a while; will stop spinning and cause the game to lock up. If I reset the system, the game is able to load again. I've read that this is a somewhat easy remedy, however; I would rather have a system able to play US games. If someone is willing to take my system on as a project and offer me a system on trade or at a discounted rate, that would be great.

UPDATE: Keith Courage has contacted me to repair and mod my system for me, so I will close this thread. The community really does come through in a pinch! Thanks guys!
