It's a VideoGame TV show I think...

The first part are reviews.  They seemed to like everything in that section.  At one point there's a bouncing thingy and a meter.

The colour of the bouncing thing seems to determine how easy it is to play.  (Green = Easy [or starts easy with good controls), Yellow is harder (maybe due to adapting to the control mechanism) and Red I guess is frustratingly difficult.)

Then the meter is their rating for the game (5 being the highest I think).

Then they talk about tips.  Their first tip is an infinite ball trick for Devil's Crush.  The Tip for Granzort is that there are often hidden areas in your map to collect bonuses and extra lives (it's possible to get to Level 3 with 22 lives).  

The "Les Bannis" section is where they put all of the games they don't like at all.  I'm a bit miffed that they blasted Xevious calling it slow, old and only good for the museum.  

After that they start to talk about Tiger Road, it gets cut right when they're about to give players hints on the game.

Excellent find Ninja! It was fun to watch that clip. They certainly liked the sports games, though. Does World Court Tennis really deserve a 4/5, though? And who else here wants to get Die Hard (HuCard)? I've only played it a bit in an emulator... it wasn't that good, IIRC. But after watching that video, I got excited about it. I'm a sucker. Also, I don't know if St. Dragon deserves a 4/5 when Aeroblasters gets a 4/5 as well .

I'd get that Die Hard. I liked it just for the fact it was a good ol' fashioned overhead shoot em up. It reminds me of Bloody Wolf.

I've played Die Hard via emulation a few times before and I thought it was a pretty cool game, maybe not quite as good as Bloody Wolf, but still decent.

Now I need to figure out where to host this 191mb file.  If people are still interested.

Note: It's not a literal translation.  Some things just can't be translated well.  That and there are some European French idioms that I don't understand as a French-Canadian.  I've tried to get the essential message accross while keeping the gist of what is being said.

Hey! I am clueless on the technical issues... but if necessary, split the video into 2-3 parts. I don't mind watching it in parts if that's the only way to get around file size constraints on free hosting sites. I am assuming YouTube doesn't support the format you have?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to do this! I did not think you'd be crazy enough to do this, but I am delighted that you finished it and want to share it. Excellent!

Figured it gave me a quick excuse to see how the subtitling worked in iMovie.   The last time I did subtitling was with two VCR's and a Genlock.  

I submitted it to Google Video as a Quicktime last night (figured there was a small chance it being approved since the original version was on Google Video).

It was a pleasure to watch this vidoe again -- but with the benefit of subtitles.  "Toto" and "Mr. Frank" (???) are the best mascots a video game show could have .

I had never taken notice of the game Drop Off before.  It's looks kind of like Arkanoid (which i love).  How is it?

Drop Rock, to be honest, is rather boring and is not at all as fun as Arkanoid, or even the original Brick Out - and this comment is coming from the guy who considers crap games like It Came From the Desert to be pure gold . But yeah, it's not so good, however it's not utterly bad or anything, just a bit of a useless game.
