Folks, you deserve an update. If you're wondering why these aren't getting sent out en masse yet, the reason is because they aren't working as expected. chop5 has graciously been looking at them and trying to determine what exactly the root cause(s) are, but it seems that it's a mix of how they were produced (my fault, not the board manufacturers), and some poor assumptions on my part about how much pressure the HuCard slot exerts on the pins (also my fault).
We've been coming up with ideas on how to make this run of them work (as I ordered over 150 of them... would be nice to get some use out of them) but so far, no dice. I do have at least one more trick up my sleeve, but I am not holding out loads of hope at the moment.
I am sure that these can be made to work to some degree, but if they are even flaky, I don't really feel comfortable selling them to anyone.
At this point, I've decided to chalk this up as a learning experience, and while there is still hope that these can be made to work reliably, I am just letting you know the score so you can make an informed decision about them.
I've received so much positive feedback that I am seriously considering redesigning them to remove the flaws we've found so far, but before I go that route, I'm interested in seeing at least one of these work by manually modifying it, to ensure that the idea itself is a sound one.
If we can get these working but they're somewhat touchy, I'll sell them off at a lower price, just to recoup some of the cost, and the rest I'll just take as a loss. I'll keep you all posted.

sorry to hear that, i hope it goes well. dont give up. i had developed a replacement dash pad for vw busses afew years back, and the first run was less than stellar. but the next one and the rest since then have been great. i do understand being let down, but you have the right attitude about it in my humble opinion.

Small update -- one has been made to work with some efforts! So they aren't total garbage, anyway.
However, it is obvious that I will need to test each one before they ship out. Unfortunately, as I've mentioned before, I don't have a working TG16 (but I do have a PCE). I've decided to go ahead and mod my PCE (the ground pin 29 part, anyway), and test them with a TG16 huey before I send them out. Chop5 has offered to lend me a huey or two, but I suspect I will need them longer term, so I'm going to just toss this out there: does anyone have any spare, loose TG16 hueys that they'd be willing to trade for some quantity of (actually working) TurboPosers? PM me with offers. Thanks!

I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to play around with them and see if I can get them physically a little more robust. I suspect it may involve some rather destructive processes...

Did you ever come up with a fix for attaching the games?

Assuming the technical issues can be cleaned up.

Well, it seems like double-sided tape on the bottom and a strip of electrical tape on top does a pretty decent job. The main issue now is still sort of an attachment issue -- it doesn't make good connection with the HuCard due to excess soldermask.
If I do go ahead with a second run of these, I'll keep the soldermask away from the pins on the underside. Should help a ton.
