12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

I made an offer £8 under the asking price and it was auto accepted so maybe you could get it even cheaper.
Best of luck comrades!

MotherGunner

Hmm, make offer option is not there for me.

All is well. :)

Save that high priced auction for a collector, if you want to do cheap just buy a DIN extension cable.

8 pin din cable not very easy to find in uk. A local cable company quoted me £30 to make a one off which i wasn't about to go for
Plus im no good at soldering to do one myself, stubby fingers
Subtracting tax and what postage and packing is roughly worth the price i paid for cable is £9 which is not much more than the parts would cost at a local electrical store do for me was a better option

Quote from: kentuckycc on 02/26/2014, 02:11 PMI bought these for my turboduo. They work great and you really cant beat the price (1.86)! Not sure if they have ones for the regular TG16
I don't think they carry TG16 compatible extensions, but http://www.bestpricecables.com/ used to.  However, I can't find them there any more. :(

Yeah, I didn't think the TG16 used DIN, did it? It was some kind of proprietary cable, right?

No, it's full size DIN (the others are mini-DIN).

They both look like 8 pin DIN (full size), but 3 feet isn't longer than 5 meters.

Woah, I could have sworn it said "0.5" so nvm then.  Shit would it even work at that length?  (Signal loss, etc?)

I have some mini-DIN extension cables for my PCE (from Monoprice) that are pretty close to 3 feet (might even be longer) and they work fine. The only problem I got was when I connected the cable from my 5-player tap to the console and it made New Adventure Island do some weird things.
