The game I am talking about is Super Star Soldier and was curious how is it compared to say Blazing Lazers both for the TurboGrafx 16 the copy that was at the store was behind the showcase so I didnt get to see it close up but it even had the big box the games came in. The game was kinda pricey so I didnt pick it up figure ask a little bit

It's def worth getting, one of the better shooters on Hu card. The PCE version can be had for a looooot cheaper though, $20-25 on ebay and has better artwork.

It's typically considered one of the cornerstones of the TG/PCE library.  It has amazing gameplay, excellent graphics and superb music.  As Punkic mentioned, the PCE version can be found for far less than the US version and afaik, the only difference is the intro animation.  The actual gameplay is identical. I picked up my PCE copy for about $20 shipped a couple of years ago, but I know the US version goes for a lot more. The last time I bought a US copy, it was new, back when it was released, and probably set me back $50 in 1990's money, so maybe today's rate isn't that far off... :D

All of the soldier games are must own games in my opinion. Super Star Soldier in particular has awesome music and varied level design. It is a fun and challenging game. I have yet to beat this one. I've been itching to beat this one on one credit, but I haven't made it farther than the boss parade on the last level, hehe.

Great game, one of the best shooters on the TG16.  They will probably be charging an arm and a leg though if it was in the "showcase."

S.S.S. is a great shewty, but I like Soldier Blade even more.

The game might have been like $120 and also I'm going to post a post from another thread here since its getting no replies there On another note I completely forgot I have Super Bonk for the SNES sealed in the box that I got directly from Hudson Soft not too long ago they had some extras and I got it for free

It's a good game, but I probably wouldn't bust $120 on it.  Having it new in box is great for me because I know that way the manual isn't all wrinkled and creased up and I can keep it in good condition.  But I wouldn't be buying as a collector just to shelve it, I would open it.  So I bet you could get a loose one or a used for a lot cheaper if you looked around.  Ebay has a couple, about half of that for a loose one, but you could get the PC Engine release there looking complete for $35.

really great shooter. Not worth $120. Def pick up the PCE version though

120 is rediculous!  No reason that game should even be over $50 complete.  Congrats on getting SSS though. It is definitely one of the better titles for shooters.  Now go buy Download for the pc-engine. :)

The Turbo version was going for $30 complete in case a year ago, even on eBay. It was one of the last games I picked up. I had just missed out on a string of copies selling complete on eBay for $20 - $30 when I decided to finally get it. I just waited patiently and got it for what I wanted within a few months.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!
